Obituary of Jeremiah King

King, Jeremiah Patrick "Bud" Age 79, of Channahon, IL and formerly Chicago, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at St. Margaret Hospital in Spring Valley, IL. Born in Chicago March 3, 1933 to the late Katherine (nee Clifford) and John Joseph King. Bud was a retired Chicago Firefighter, serving the city for 38 years. He was a U.S. Marine Corp. Veteran. Beloved husband of 40 years to Carol (nee Baker) King; loving father of Kenneth Cook, Lorraine Cook, Joseph Cook and Angela King. Also survived by his siblings and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home 1201 W. Route 6 (Bedford Rd.) Morris, IL. where visitation will be held from Friday, June 15, 2012 from 3-8 p.m. with a prayer service at 8 p.m. Interment will take place at a later date. For information (815) 942-5040.
