Age 82. Lifelong resident of Joliet, went to be in God's care Sunday, September 30, 2007. Jeannette was owner of the Kinzler North Pole Tavern for 14 years. She was also employed by the Central Dry Cleaners and Silver Cross Hospital.
Preceded in death by her parents, Anthony and Lottie Zobel; her husband, Jack W. Kinzler; and infant son, Johnny A. Kinzler.
Survived by her loving family, her children, Jacqueline (Leo) Flanders of Phoenix, AZ, Roberta (Thomas) Hafner, Patricia (Bruce) Howk and Kim (Lora) Kinzler all of Joliet; her sister, Dorothy Dragavon; grandchildren, Terra (Scott) Spiess, Anthony (Kathy) Hafner, Deann (Teddy) Rodden, John Kinzler, Tammy Hafner, Michael (Latreese) Kinzler, Christa (Jonathan) Mahoney, and Stacy (Gary) Bowen; five step-grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank Countryside Nursing Home in Aurora, IL for their continued care and comfort in taking care of our mother.
Funeral Services for Jeannette Kinzler will be Friday, October 5, 2007 at 9:15 a.m. from the funeral home to St. Mary Nativity Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family would be greatly appreciated. Visitation Thursday 3-8 p.m. at:
