Obituary of Matthew Klika
Matthew W. Klika
Age 29, of Plainfield, passed away suddenly, Wednesday, April 11, 2012 of natural causes at Provena Saint Joseph Medical Center emergency room, with his wife at his side.
Born April 4, 1983 in Joliet, he was a graduate of Minooka High School Class of 2001. He worked as a Manager for Menard's Distribution Center in Plano.
Matthew was a loving husband, a devoted father and a dedicated son, brother and grandson to whom family was everything. He was also a loyal friend who will always be remembered as a hard worker who always saw things through. Matt was also an avid fan of the Green Bay Packers, and the Chicago Cubs and Bulls.
Survived by his beloved wife, Alisa M. (nee Kasten) Klika, who he married March 24, 2007; his daughter, Abigail "Abby" at home; his parents, John C. and Jacquelyn A. (nee Ellis) Klika of Shorewood; three brothers, Brad Klika of Channahon, David Klika of Channahon and Drew Klika of Shorewood; one sister, Darcy Klika of Shorewood; aunts and uncles, Beverly Ellis, Greg (Brenda) Ellis, Joan McKenna and Tom (Pat) Klika; a grandmother, Wanda Ellis of Sarasota, FL; his wife's parents, Robert and Alta Kasten of Winigan, MO; his brothers-in-law, Douglas Ritchey, Jeff (Nancy) Ritchey and Don (Lauren) Kasten; his nieces, Nicole and Jade Ritchey; and cousins, Ryan Timothy, Meghan and Molly McKenna.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jeanne and Irvin Klika of Green Bay, WI, Ruth Ellis of Joliet, and Donald Ellis of Sarasota, FL; and an uncle, Donald G. (Robin) Ellis.
Funeral Services for Matthew W. Klika will be Monday, April 16, 2012 at 9:15 a.m. from the funeral home chapel to St. Paul the Apostle for Mass at 10:00 a.m. Interment at Woodlawn Memorial Park will be private.
