Obituary of Ryan Knudsen

Knudsen, Ryan A. Age 22, of Plainfield, passed away suddenly Sunday, October 14, 2012. Ryan was a graduate of Central Elementary, Indian Trail Junior High and Plainfield Central High School. He enjoyed working as a server for Mickey O'Neill's Irish Pub where he made many friends. He received a scholarship to attend Lewis University with his ultimate ambition to become a pilot. Ryan was a sparkling young man and a gifted student who was full of life. He was devoted to his parents and sister, and all his family, especially his Grandpa Bob during his final illness. He will be remembered for his love of music, his kind heart, his wit and unique sense of humor, his infectious smile, and his talent playing the guitar. He was the beloved son of Alan and Jackie (nee Larson) Knudsen; dear brother of Kirsten; loving grandson of Janet L. Lindstrand of Morris and Carolynn (Pasquale "Pat") DiTrocchio of Niota, TN; and fond great-grandson of Howard and Thelma Applen. His loving girlfriend Evelyn Bravo of Crest Hill, and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends also survive. Preceded by his grandfathers, Robert W. Lindstrand, Sr. and Larry A. Larson; and his great-grandparents, James and Janet Bradley, and Allen and Dorothy Larson. Funeral Services for Ryan A. Knudsen will be Friday, October 19, 2012 at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home chapel. Fr. Matthew Humm officiating. Interment will be at St. Mary Immaculate Cemetery, Plainfield on Saturday, October 20, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. In Lieu of flowers, memorials to the family would be appreciated.
