Obituary of Margaret Kobe

Margaret R. Kobe (nee Skole) Age 88, of Joliet, passed away peacefully at her home with her family by her side on Thursday, November 20, 2008. Born September 15, 1920 in Joliet to the late Frank and Mary (nee Mufich) Skole, she was a lifetime resident. Retired from Electromotive of LaGrange in 1978 after many years of service. Beloved mother of Barbara Morris; proud and devoted grandmother of Matt and Mitch Morris; also survived by her best friend, Geri "Bum" Jankowski; and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband, Matthew J. Kobe (2002); son-in-law, Philip Morris (2000); parents; five brothers, Butch, Roman, Robert, Michael and Cyril Skole; and two sisters, Mildred Fisher and Caroline Obert. Funeral Services for Margaret R. Kobe will be Saturday, November 22, 2008 at 10:15 a.m. from the funeral home to St. Mary Nativity Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery.
