Joseph J. Kuchta
Age 86. Peacefully, Thursday, January 28, 2010 at the Timbers of Shorewood. Born in Chicago, he was a resident of Apache Junction, AZ and a Shorewood resident for the past two years. A WWII U.S. Army Air Corps veteran, serving as a bomber navigation instructor. Retired from Chicago Northwestern Railway after many years of service.
Preceded in death by his wife, Clara Kuchta; one grandson, Francis Kuchta; his parents; one brother, Anton; two sisters, Mary Jedynak and Elizabeth Trompka; one nephew, Walter Trompka, Jr.; and his son-in-law, George A. Seamon.
Survived by one son, Donald (Shirley) Kuchta of Piqua, OH; one stepson, Theodore Muth of Harwood Heights, IL; two stepdaughters, Joan (Tom) Krucki of Seminole, FL and Elaine Seamon of Joliet; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services for Joseph J. Kuchta will be Monday, February 1, 2010 at 9:15 a.m. from the funeral home to St. Jude Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery, River Grove, IL. Visitation Sunday 5-8 p.m. at:
