Obituary of Phyllis Baron

Phyllis Jean Baron (nee Cooper) Age 59. Born May 29, 1949 in Danville, West Virginia, she lived in Joliet for 36 years. Loving mother and wife. She had moved away from Joliet four months ago to live in Galveston, TX. Hurricane IKE made her leave her home to stay in West Virginia, when she suffered a heart attack on September 15. She later died at CAMC Memorial Hospital in Charleston, WV. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Bonnie Cooper; and her husband of 30 years, Daniel E. Baron of Joliet. She is survived by her daughters, Diana Baron of Kankakee, IL and "Mary" Stella (Robert E. Jr.) Owen; three grandsons, Robert D. Owen, John W. Owen, and Nathaniel E. Owen all of Bradford, IL; four sisters, Judy Cox, Sue Bell, Barbara Steele, and JoAnn Wright; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service for Phyllis Jean Baron will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2008 at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home chapel.
