Edith V. Libersher
(nee Adams)
Age 91. Passed away peacefully Friday, January 30, 2009 at her home. Born in Joliet to Thomas and Alice (nee Hall) Adams, she was a lifetime resident. Member of First Presbyterian Church. She was a partner in the operation of the former Lib's West Inn.
Survived by her daughter, Pamela Huston; grandchildren John Libersher, Diane (Michael) Costain, Gina (Richard) Carlton, David (Jennifer) Huston and Robert (Sarah Fisher) Huston; great-grandchildren, Robert, Jonathan and Haley Costain; Elizabeth and Richard Carlton; Tyler Huston, Helena Huston and Vernie Smith; two sisters-in-law, Mary Jane Rothlisberger and Constance Libersher; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her husband, Elmer A. Libersher (March 2007); son, Gordon Libersher; and two sisters, Eleanor Rub and Lillian Gardner
Funeral Services for Edith V. Libersher will be Monday, February 2, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home chapel. Cremation Rites will be accorded following services. Inurnment at St. Joseph Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name to Joliet Area Community Hospice would be appreciated. Visitation MONDAY 3-7 p.m. at:
