Obituary of Rose Limon

Rose S. Limon Age 70, of Joliet, passed away peacefully, with her family by her side, Wednesday February 27, 2008 at the Joliet Area Community Hospice Home. Born June 8, 1937 in Chicago to the late Joseph and Francisca Sanchez, she was a longtime area resident. Rose is survived by her children, Nick (Jean York) Sanchez, Joseph (Sandi Skinner) Limon, Terry (Sal) Lerma, Loretta Urbina, Matthew (Sandy) Limon and Michael Limon; twenty grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; ex-husband and dear friend Locardio (Consuelo) Limon and their three children, Marlen, Cindy and Connie; two sisters, Julia Soria and Margaret (Rudy) Sanchez; her good friends Dawn, Lee and Maria; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; infant son Nick; four sisters and one brother. Rose was an outgoing, colorful character, who was filled with personality and charisma. She loved everyone, and would do anything for anybody. She will be greatly missed by all her family and many dear friends. Funeral services for Rose S. Limon will be Sunday March 2, 2008 at the funeral home where a prayer service will take place at 6:00 p.m. Private family interment will take place at later date.
