Obituary of R. Lintern

R. Terrence Lintern "Terry" Age 65, of Morris, passed away peacefully Sunday, November 6, 2011 at Gottlieb Memorial Hospital in Melrose Park, IL. A veteran of the United States Army, he held a special place in his heart for his alma mater, the University of Missouri, Columbia, and his beloved Tigers. He was an avid sports fan, but family and friends were the most important things in his life. Beloved husband of Patricia, devoted father of Matthew and Tarina Avidan, Ryan Lintern and Maris Lintern (fiancé Steve Ashby), adoring grandfather of Evie and Carsen Avidan; and cherished friend of Mary Shark. Preceded by his parents, Robert and Sally, and brother, Thomas Lintern. A Memorial Gathering for Terry will be Thursday, November 10, 2011 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Fred C. Dames Funeral Home.
