Obituary of Betty Lousher

Betty B. Lousher (nee Kump) Age 85, of Joliet, passed away Monday, June 20, 2011 at the Joliet Area Community Hospice Home. Born January 15, 1926 in Joliet to the late Joseph and Sophie (Luscher) Kump, she attended St. John the Baptist Grade School and Providence Catholic High School. Betty worked at the Navy Yards and for Gerlach Calendars prior to her marriage. She later worked for Seron Manufacturing for 35 years, and for Syl's Restaurant for eight years. Surviving are her devoted daughter and son-in-law, Mary Ellen and Michael Yazbec of Joliet; one sister, Theresa (Bert) Adams of Joliet; four sisters-in-law, Irma Kump of Joliet, Betty Kump of Joliet, Rose Lousher of Joliet, and Martha Lousher of Minooka; and several generations of nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded by her beloved husband, Martin Lousher (June 8, 1972); her parents, and brothers and sisters, Alfred Kump, Arnold Kump, Alma Polyak, Edith Jackinoski, Margaret Kump in infancy, and Dorothy Kump in childhood. Private funeral services for Betty B. Lousher were held at the Cathedral of St. Raymond Nonnatus. Interment St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Joliet. Arrangements by: FRED C.
