Obituary of Ann Mahkovec

Ann Mahkovec Age 94. Passed away Sunday, December 2, 2007 at Sunny Hill Nursing Home of Will County. Born in Joliet and a lifetime resident. Member of KSKJ, the Slovenian Women's Union, and a loyal, lifetime member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Altar and Rosary Society. She enjoyed sports and was an avid Cubs fan. Loving sister of Josephine (late Frank) Goron; fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Anna Mahkovec; brothers, Frank, Edward (Dorothy), Ralph (Shirley), Stanley (late Irene), John and Cus (late Mary); one sister, Helen (late Paul) Dufour. Funeral Services for Ann Mahkovec will be Wednesday, December 5, 2007 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 416 N. Chicago St., Joliet where the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery.
