Obituary of Felician Majerczyk

Majerczyk, Felician F. "Phil" Age 78, of Channahon and formerly of Chicago, passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at Provena Saint Joseph Medical Center. Born in Chicago to Alois and Anna (nee Trojak) Majerczyk, he was a Chicago resident until moving to Channahon in 1996. A U.S. Air Force veteran, Phil was a retired brick layer. He was an avid bingo player. Beloved husband of 55 years to Toni (nee Soukup); loving father of Jan (late Bud) Kubas and Gayle (Jim) Allen, Kurt (Dawn) Majerczyk. Proud grandfather to Elise (Tony) Engert, Dan Allen, Kyle Majerczyk, Jake Majerczyk; great-grandpa of Silas Engert. Also survived by his sister-in-law Jean Schlueter and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents and siblings. Funeral Services for Felician F. Majerczyk will be held Friday, December 30, 2011 at 9:15 a.m. from the funeral home to St. Ann Catholic Church, Channahon where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.
