Obituary of Stanley Maleski
Stanley M. Maleski
Age 90, of Joliet, passed away Tuesday, January 26, 2010 at Joliet Area Community Hospice Home, surrounded by his loving family. Born December 13, 1919 in Joliet to Victor and Anna (nee Sakwaies) Maleski, he was a graduate of Joliet Catholic High School. Army Air Force veteran of World War II. Retired from Texaco in 1981 after 31 years of service. Member of Holy Family Catholic Church where he served as usher for many years.
Survived by his beloved wife of 64 years, Claribel "Belle" (nee Reichman) Maleski; his devoted daughter, Patricia (James) Stewart of New Lenox; one grandson, Justin Stewart of Minooka; and one sister, Dorothy (late Roy) Copeland of Anaheim, CA. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Preceded by his parents, and four brothers, Anton, Joseph, Walter and infant Frank.
Funeral Services for Stanley M. Maleski will be Friday, January 29, 2010 at 9:15 a.m. from the funeral home chapel to Holy Family Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park. Memorials to Joliet Area Community Hospice would be appreciated. Visitation Thursday, 4-8 p.m. at:
