Obituary of Patricia Marietta

Patricia A. Marietta (nee Rubocki) Age 63, of Joliet, passed away peacefully, Saturday, July 9, 2011 at the Joliet Area Community Hospice Home. She was born February 19, 1948 to the late Paul and Elizabeth (nee Elias) Rubocki and was a lifetime Joliet resident. Beloved mother of Melisa (Nicholas) Ferro; proud grandmother of Jonah, Alexander and Brandon Ferro. Loving sister of Sr. Rosemary Rubocki O.Carm and Raymond (Kathy) Rubocki. Dear aunt of Robert (Anne) Rubocki, Natalie (Christopher) Isensee, Meredith Rubocki, James (Megan) Rubocki, Michael Rubocki, and cherished cousin Mary Ann Okos. Preceded in death by her husband Richard J. Marietta, Jr. (1975) and her parents. Patricia, a dedicated and caring RN for 37 years, served the patients of St. Joseph Medical Center 35 of those years. She will be fondly remembered as a warm hearted woman who loved her family, especially her grandchildren. Funeral services for Patricia Marietta will be held Tuesday, July 12, 2011 at the Cathedral of St. Raymond, 604 N. Raynor Ave., Joliet, where all friends and relatives are invited to gather from 9:00 a.m. until the Mass of Christian Burial is celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. A post-funeral reception will be held for those who loved and appreciated Patty, at her daughter's home beginning at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday.
