Obituary of Mary Maske

Mary Bernice Maske (nee Murphy) Age 86. At rest Thursday, October 28, 2010 at Silver Cross Hospital. Bernice was born August 7, 1924 in Joliet to Timothy and Wilhelmina (Henschler) Murphy. She was employed by Will County Health Department for 26 years and a member of AFSCME Local 1028. She was involved with Girl Scouting in various capacities for over 20 years. Touring extensively throughout the British Isles, Mainland Europe and much of the United States she indulged her love of travel. She is survived by her children, Sharon (Charles) Whitaker of Morris, Sandra (Norman) Schaal of Crest Hill, and Timarie Maske of Joliet; grandchildren, Bethany (Robert) Jones, Milwaukee, WI, Charles David Whitaker Jr. of Morris, Christopher Schaal of Joliet and Brandon (Gina) Schaal of Crest Hill; and two great-grandchildren, Abrielle Whitaker and Claudia Sparks. Preceded by her loving husband, Harold L. Maske (1980); parents and three brothers, Maurice, Robert and Timothy Murphy. Funeral services for Mary Bernice Maske will be Monday, November 1, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home chapel, with Fr. Pete Jankowski officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Morning Star Mission or the Will County Humane Society in her name would be appreciated. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park.
