Obituary of Engelbert Maxisch

Maxisch, Engelbert J. Age 70, of Shorewood for the past five years, passed away Thursday, March 24, 2011 at Edward Hospital in Naperville. He worked as a plant manager for Handi-Cup, Solo Cup and Weber-Stephens. During his retirement, he was very active in the Shorewood Glen Community and the Conservation Committee of the Shorewood Glen Homeowners Association. He was a devoted husband, loving father and proud grandfather. He is survived by his wife, Karin (nee Mueller) Maxisch of Shorewood; two daughters, Nancy Wegrzyn of Shorewood, and Catherine (James Pitts) Maxisch of Oviedo, FL; two granddaughters, Ashley and Shannon. Preceded in death by his parents, Victor and Valeska (nee Sklotta) Maxisch; infant son, Thomas; and two sisters. Funeral Services for Engelbert J. Maxisch will be Monday, March 28, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home chapel. Interment Risen Lord Cemetry, Oswego.
