Obituary of William McCleary

McCleary, William J. Age 85. Sunday, November 11, 2012 at his home with his daughters. Born in Casper, WY, he was a Joliet area resident since 1942. A graduate of the University of Illinois. A United States Army veteran. Survived by two sons, Bruce (Rebecca Carlisle) McCleary of Charleston, S.C. and Jay (Jamie) McCleary of Nashville, TN; two daughters, Julie (John) Starasinich of Crest Hill and Luanne (late Donald) Syrek of Crest Hill; six grandchildren, Nicole Ciarletti; Meg, Katie and Elizabeth Starasinich; Frank and Mark Syrek. Preceded in death by his loving wife of 47 years, JoAnn (nee Bartling) McCleary (2009); parents, Frank and Ida (nee Erickson) McCleary; one daughter, Susanne McCleary; one sister, Doris Elaine McCleary; one brother, Donald Franklin McCleary. Funeral Services for William J. McCleary will be Thursday, November 15, 2012 at 9:15 a.m. from the funeral home to the Church of St. Jude for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park.
