Obituary of Gerald McClimon

Gerald J. McClimon "Jerry" Age 70. Wednesday, March 3, 2010 at Provena Saint Joseph Medical Center. Born and raised in Clinton, IA, he was a Channahon resident for the past 35 years. Graduate of the University of Wisconsin at Eau Clare. A U.S. Navy veteran. Former Scoutmaster of Troop #444 in Channahon. Gerald's greatest loves in life were his family and his love of history. Preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Virginia McClimon; and one brother in infancy. Survived by his loving and devoted wife, Iva McClimon; one son, J.J. (Diane) McClimon both of Channahon; one daughter, Kristin (Jonathan) Anderson of Indianola, IA; seven grandchildren, Grace, Jack, Anna and Tommy McClimon; Ellie, Eden and August Anderson; two brothers, Pat McClimon and Larry (Nora) McClimon; two sisters, Connie (Larry) Andersen and Kay Giunta; three aunts; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Funeral Services for Gerald J. McClimon will be Saturday, March 6, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home chapel. Pastor Ben Ingelson officiating.
