Obituary of Carolyn McInaney

Carolyn S. McInaney Age 90, daughter of the late Arthur and Albina Swanke, born July 10, 1920 in Joliet, passed away Thursday, December 30, 2010. She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Hugh E. (2001). She was a graduate of Joliet Township High School Class of 1939, and the Metropolitan Business College. Carolyn was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church, where she served as volunteer sacristan for 40 years. She will always be remembered for her extremely generous spirit, her love of cardinals and flowers, her perfect cards and letters, and her passion for the Chicago White Sox. She is survived by her sister, Dolores (late Steve) Hulina; nephews, Randahl S. Hulina and Gerald (Linda) Hulina; great-nephew, Kevin R. Hulina; great-niece, Stacy M. (Zachary) Tongate; special cousin, Dorothy (Swanke) Puracchio (late Thomas) and their four children and families, as well as several other cousins and nephews. Funeral Services were held Monday, January 3, 2011 at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, Crest Hill. Interment Resurrection Cemetery, Romeoville.
