Obituary of Patsy McKanna

McKanna, Patsy A. (nee Steib) Age 74. At rest Thursday, July 21, 2011 at Silver Cross Hospital. Born in Aurora, IL to the late Mervin and Myrtle (Oestmann) Steib, she was a resident of New Lenox for 32 years. Retired from Joliet Township High School District in 1999 following 38 years of service. Member of Grace United Methodist Church. Surviving are her loving husband of 32 years, Russell W. McKanna of New Lenox; her stepchildren, Kelly (Scott) Shulk of Noblesville, IN, Scott McKanna of Joliet, and Holly Quinn of Joliet; five step-grandchildren, Zachary, Katie, Ryan, Erin and Kyle; one brother, Gordon "Butch" Steib of North Aurora, and nieces and nephews also survive. Preceded in death by his parents. Funeral Services for Patsy A. McKanna will be Monday, July 25, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home chapel. Interment Clarendon Hills Cemetery, Darien, IL.
