Clover E. Miller
(Nee Cox)
Age 87. At rest Sunday, January 27, 2008 at the Joliet Area Community Hospice Home. Born in Green County, IL to the late William and Maude (nee White) Cox and a resident of Joliet since 1941. Retired from Joliet Township High School East Campus in 1976. Member of Faith Bible Church, active in the Missionary Society, the Gideons, Women of Faith and taught Sunday School for many years. Clover loved sewing and crocheting, and was an avid quilt maker.
Surviving is her loving husband of 67 years, Henry A. Miller of Joliet; four sons, Stephen (Gloria) of New Lenox, Michael (Carol) of Channahon, Carl (Robin) of Coal City and Ed (Cindy) Miller of Coal City; ten grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren;one sister, Linda Schaake of Jerseyville, IL; two brothers, William Cox of Paducah, KY and Dean (Barbara) Cox of Shipman, IL; and numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Preceded by her parents; four sisters, Audrey, Wanda, Frances and Eullah; four brothers, Courtland, Hershel, Pete and Lowell.
People are fortunate to have a loving mother, and we feel especially fortunate to have this particular one for this long.
Clover E. Miller will lie in state Wednesday, January 30, 2008 at Faith Bible Church, 1600 Schuster St., Joliet from 10:00 a.m. until time of services at 11:00 a.m. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park II. Memorials in her name to Faith Bible Church or Joliet Area Community Hospice would be appreciated. Visitation Tuesday, 4-8 p.m. at:
