Obituary of David Moats SR

David W. Moats, Sr. Age 51. At rest Saturday December 19, 2009 at his late residence. Born in Joliet and a lifelong area resident. Attended Joliet Central High School. Owner/President of D & D Roofing. An avid boater and fisherman. Survived by his three children, Stephanie Moats, Stacey (Javier) Cruz and David W. Moats Jr. all of Joliet; three grandchildren, Brianna, Liala "Porks", Frankie and a fourth grandchild expected in June; his mother, Betty (nee Cunningham) Moats of Joliet; three sisters, Judy (James) Pampuch, Sandy Harames both of Joliet and Kim (Doug) Sandstrom of Plainfield; two brothers, James (Diane) Moats and John (Charlotte) Moats III both of Minooka; many nieces and nephews also survive. Preceded in death by his father, John Moats, Jr. (2006). Funeral services will be Wednesday December 23, 2009, 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home chapel. Interment will be private.
