Obituary of Patricia Muchowski

Patricia Muchowski (McKanna) Age 67. Peacefully, Saturday, September 19, 2009 at the Joliet Area Community Hospice Home with her family by her side following a courageous battle with cancer. A graduate of Wheaton High School Class of 1960. Patricia was employed at Farmers Insurance for numerous years. A special thank you to her friends at Farmers Insurance, Sherri and Jim Confer, and Mark Baker for their great care and kindness during her illness. Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, George C. and June L. Graham, and one brother, Robert R. Graham. Patricia is survived by her son, Scott McKanna of Crest Hill; two daughters, Kelly Shulk of Noblesville, IN and Holly Quinn of Joliet; five grandchildren, Zachary and Katie Quinn, and Ryan, Erin and Kyle Shulk; one brother, George C. (Angela) Graham of Bebee, AR; and two sisters, Penny (Denis) Matlak of Joliet, and Deborah J. (Randy) Stafford of Anacortes, WA. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews who will always remember Patricia for her love and kindness and especially her Christmas spirit and joy given every year, and her best friend, JoAnn Chobar. A Memorial Service for Patricia L. Muchowski will be Tuesday, September 22, 2009, at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home chapel, Deacon Marco Lovero officiating. As it was Patricia's final request, cremation rites have been accorded. Visitation Tuesday, 3:00 p.m. until time of services at 7:00 p.m. at: FRED C.
