Obituary of Jarlath Mullen

Mullen, Jarlath M. "Jar" (nee Williams) Age 76. At rest Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at Provena St. Joseph Medical Center, Joliet. Born and raised in Chicago to the late Vern and Myrtle Williams, residing in Minooka since 1973. Graduate of Academy of Our Lady, Chicago. Retired from First National Bank of Joliet in 1997. Member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Minooka. An avid bingo player who made an occasional trip to the Riverboat Casino. Surviving are her four children; Terry (Denise) Glennon M.D. of Carterville, IL, Brian (Christina) Mullen of Hatboro, PA, Michelle Mullen of Minooka and Kevin (Lisa) Mullen of Ottawa, IL; 13 grandchildren, Christopher and Sean Glennon, Victoria, Kyle, Paige, Avery, Connor, Macenzie, Collin, Austin, Shaelyn, Caden and Caleb Mullen; one sister, April (Ralph) Coyle of Marseilles; two brothers, Bernard (Ann) Williams of Crestwood and John (Joan) Williams of Channing, MI. Numerous nieces and nephews survive. Preceded by her husband, Jim Mullen (2005) and her parents. Visitation for Jarlath M. Mullen will be Saturday, April 7, 2012 4-8 p.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 1201 W. Route 6 at Deerpath Drive, Morris. Funeral Services will be Monday, April 9, 2012 at 9:30 a.m. from the funeral home chapel to St. Mary Catholic Church, Minooka for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Interment St. Mary Cemetery.
