Obituary of George Murnick

George Murnick Age 88. Passed away Monday, December 3, 2007 in Flin Flon, Manitoba Canada. Born December 6, 1918 in Pana, IL, he was a resident of Joliet and Manitoba Canada. Retired as supervisor for the Army Procurement and Supply Agency. He was an WWII U.S. Air Force Veteran. He immigrated to Canada following his retirement. Survived by one brother, Frank (Jean Johnson) Murnick of Cranberry Portage Manitoba; three sisters, Ann (late Joseph) Pavletich of New Lenox, Catherine (late Leo) Lasko of Pana and Barbara (late Julius) Heck of Lockport; and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents, Michael and Susan (nee Thomas) Murnick; four sisters, Mary (Robert) Rohr, Susan (Jerome) Cellenti, Mildred (Ambrose) Mahalik, and Elizabeth (Robert) Zing; and one brother, Michael (Josephine) Murnick.
