Obituary of Julia Bednarski

Julia A. Bednarski (nee Blyskal) Age 83, of Joliet, and formerly of Chicago, passed away Saturday, December 18, 2010 at Loyalton of Joliet. Julia was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who enjoyed bingo, traveling, and family get togethers. Survived by her three children, Linda (Frank) Podlogar, Brian (Mary Kay) Bednarski, and Joyce (Jim) Lipinski; six grandchildren, Jen, Julie, Christine, Sarah, Jessica and James; three great-grandchildren, Chase, Charlie Jo and Aiden; and many nieces and nephews. Preceded by her parents, Martin and Julia (nee Matelski) Blyskal; two sisters; and seven brothers. The family wishes to extend special thanks to everyone at The Loyalton of Joliet, and Joliet Area Community Hospice for their loving care. Funeral services for Julia A. Bednarski will be Thursday, December 23, 2010 at 9:15 a.m. from the funeral home to Holy Family Catholic Church for Mass at 10:00 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery, Justice.
