Obituary of Charles Novak

Charles J. Novak "Chuck" Age 57, of Minooka, IL., passed away peacefully, Tuesday, March 25, 2008 at the Joliet Area Community Hospice Home, surrounded by his loving family and friends. Born in Joliet, he was a graduate of Joliet West High School Class of 1969. Retired from Caterpillar Inc. after over 30 years of service. He had most recently been employed by Mazak Corp. Member of IAMAW Local #851. Preceded in death by his parents, Mathias and Helen (nee Smolich) Novak; one brother, John Novak (1960); one nephew, Jack Findlay; and his father-in-law, Joseph McCanna. Loving husband of Mary E. "Betsy" (nee McCanna) Novak of Minooka; dear father of Carrie (Larry) Bisgrove of Oswego and Daniel Novak of Minooka; beloved grandfather of Brendan Bisgrove; beloved son-in-law of Marilyn McCanna; also survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Suzy (Phil) Gallo; nephew, Tony Gallo all of Joliet; and many cousins including John (Peg) Hagerty and Maureen (late Al) Phillips. Funeral Services for Charles J. Novak will be Monday, March 31, 2008 at 9:00 a.m. from the funeral home chapel to St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Entombment Resurrection Cemetery.
