Obituary of Mary O'Connell

Mary G. O'Connell Age 61. Passed away suddenly Monday, December 8, 2008 at her home in Elwood. Born March 15, 1947 in Chicago to Ignacious and Mary Yasus. She was employed with the United States Post Office for 30 years, and was the former Post Master in Mokena. She was a dedicated and loving mother and grandmother, and she loved all animals. Survived by one daughter, Denise Templeton; four sons, Larry O'Connell, Dan (Kim) O'Connell, Phil (Mitzi) O'Connell and David O'Connell; six grandchildren, Tamara, Taylor, Ryan, Jonathan, Brittany and Courtney; one sister, Joann Yasus; two brothers, Edward Miller and Tommy Tolan; numerous nieces, nephews and special aunt, Gladys Barrett. Preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence O'Connell; her second husband, Phillip O'Connell; her parents and two sisters. Funeral Services for Mary G. O'Connell will be Friday, December 12, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home chapel. Interment St. Casimir Cemetery, Chicago. Visitation Thursday 2-8 p.m. at: FRED C.
