Obituary of Patricia O'Connor

Patricia M. O'Connor At rest Tuesday, February 23, 2010 at Rosewood Care Center. Born at St. Joseph Hospital in Joliet on September 9, 1923. Baptized at St. Patrick Catholic Church. Graduate of Joliet Township High School, class of 1942. She worked as a Society Editor at the Joliet Herald News, she also worked as a secretary at Gerlach-Barklow. Patricia moved to Riverside, CA in 1963 where she retired from Great American First Savings Bank as an Executive Secretary in 1986. Following retirement, she worked as a receptionist at various retirement homes in Riverside, CA and Joliet. Preceded by her parents, James and Margaret (Haley) O'Connor; brothers and sisters, James O'Connor, Bernice Kinsella, Ambrose O'Connor, Mary Olidine Martin, Richard L. O'Connor and Raymond O'Connor; nieces and nephews, Celeste Kinsella, Larry Kinsella, Marilyn Kolich and Edward O'Connor. Survived by her nieces and nephews, James O'Connor, Kathy Carr, Margie Kinsella, Don Kinsella, Bob Martin, Joann Crowther, Linda Welsh, Geraldine Troutman, Richard J. O'Connor, Annette Robbins and Donald O'Connor; many great and great-great nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Services for Patricia M. O'Connor will be Friday, February 26, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. from the funeral home to the Church of St. Jude for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Interment St. Patrick Cemetery.
