Helen O'Malley
(nee Lehman)
Age 90, of Shorewood, and formerly of Burbank and Matteson, passed away Saturday, January 7, 2012 at St. James Hospital, Pontiac with her loving family at her side.
Helen worked as a quality control supervisor for Lever Brothers, Chicago, for 30 years. She loved to bake and make candy, which she generously shared with all her friends at The Timbers. She was also proud to have been the Timbers Prom Queen in 2010.
Devoted mother of Shirley (Charles) Dunning of Pontiac; loving grandmother of Chuck (Penny) Dunning, Jim (Janet) Dunning, Karen (Marty) Hembree, and Sharon Grove; dear great-grandmother of eleven; proud great-great-grandmother of one; and fond sister of Joseph (Lois) Lehman.
Preceded by her beloved husband of 57 years, William O'Malley (December 28, 2009); her parents, Anton and Katherine (nee Hoenniges) Lehman; five sisters and four brothers.
Funeral Services for Helen O'Malley will be Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. from the funeral home chapel to St. Mary Immaculate Catholic Church, Plainfield, for Mass at 11:00 a.m. Interment St. Mary Immaculate Cemetery.
