Obituary of John Belom

Belom, John A. Age 83, of Joliet, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, September 19, 2012 at Adventist Bolingbrook Hospital. Born in Joliet to the late Louis and Christina (nee Venardi) Belom, he was a lifelong resident. Loving father of Kirin (Matthew) Rice, John Belom and Kay (Michael) Joho; proud grandfather of Jill (Nate) Cover; Kevin and Steve Joho; dear great-grandfather of Nathan, Logan and Teagan; devoted Godfather of Marilou Polcyn of Joliet; dear cousin, Lorraine Belom; numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Preceded in death by his beloved wife, Joyce (nee Brock) Belom (November 24, 2011); his parents; one sister, Anna Piazza; two brothers, Louis and Raymond Belom; daughter-in-law, Jane Lowdon. John practiced law for over 40 years in Joliet. He was a counselor, advisor and friend to all who called upon him. Funeral Services for John A. Belom will be Friday, September 21, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park.
