Obituary of Ron Oswald
Oswald, Ron M.
Age 57, of Minooka, passed away suddenly Saturday, July 14, 2012 from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.
Retired from Mahoney Environmental, Inc. after 27 years of service as a driver, and was a member of Teamster's Local #179. He was a member of the Patriot Guard, Warriors Watch Riders and Will County ABATE where he was a former Road Captain. He was also a former member of I&M Trailblazers. Ron's interests over the years have included motorcycles, snowmobiles, boating, coaching softball, guns and women.
Survived by his children, Bill (Tiffany) Oswald, Diane (J.J.) McClimon, Cheryl Hatley, Chris (Jeff) Worthington, Laura (Brandon) Hickey, Barb (Ryan Martin) Oswald, Brian Oswald, and Michael Oswald; grandchildren, Gabrielle and Sophia Oswald; Grace, Jack, Anna and Tommy McClimon; Max and Alexandria Hatley; Alex and Eli Worthington; Riley, Colin and Faith Hickey; Sean Martin; and a new grandchild due in January; two sisters, Barb Zimmerman and Bev (Bob) Mauer; sister-in-law, Ann Baker; and many nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Violet (nee Harrison) Oswald; one brother, John Baker; and one brother-in-law, Jerry Zimmerman.
Funeral Services for Ron Oswald will be Thursday, July 19, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home chapel. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family would be appreciated. Visitation Wednesday 2-9 p.m. at:
