William T. Page
"Bill"
Age 70. Passed away peacefully on Friday, May 2, 2008, with his family at his side. Born June 26, 1937 in Centralia, IL to the late John and Mildred Page, he had resided in Joliet all his adult life. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran. Member of the Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge #300, and the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers Local #851. He retired as Quality Assurance Inspector with Caterpillar Tractor Company after 35 years of service. He enjoyed woodworking and billiards.
Survived by his wife, Jo; stepchildren, Jodi (Scott) Davenport of TX and Michael Heston of MO; three granddaughters, Kristane, Shelby and Barbara; one brother, John R. (Pat) Page of AR; uncle of Kevin Page of TX and Susan Page of MO; brother-in-law of John Johnson of TX, Betty (Bob) McTee of S.C., Susie (Randy) Ferrill of IL, John E. Johnson of IL and Tim (Nancy) Johnson of TX; numerous relatives and friends also survive.
Preceded in death by his parents; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Mary Hansel and Roy Johnson; sister and brother-in-law, Toody and Merle McGill.
Funeral Services for William T. Page will be Tuesday, May 6, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home chapel. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Bill's name to the Joliet Area Community Hospice Home would be appreciated. Visitation Monday 3-7 p.m. at:
