Obituary of Doris Pantol

Pantol, Doris M. (nee Jungles) Age 83. At rest Thursday, November 22, 2012 at Morris Health Care. Born June 29, 1929 in Joliet to Lawrence and Agnes (nee Bick) Jungles, she was a lifelong Joliet resident. Retired from the former Glenwood Care Center after 25 years as a licensed practical nurse. Doris was also a volunteer for Joliet Area Community Hospice, and was a member of the Mariners. Doris is survived by her sons, Walter (Peggy) Pantol of Oshkosh, WI and Donald (Edith) Pantol of Morris; daughter, Mary Ann (Reverend Steve) Cook of Channahon; proud grandmother of seven grandchildren, Sarah (Mike) Kirsch, Aaron (Sarah) Pantol, Steven (Kari) Pantol, Joshua Pantol, Kevin (Ashley) Cook, Keith Cook and Scott (Ashley) Cook; great-grandmother of James, Stephen and Kurt Pantol; Payton Kirsch; and Graham Cook. Doris also leaves her sister, Mary Ann (Bill) Shega of Florida and brother, Lawrence (Mary Ann) Jungles of Rockdale. Preceded in death by her beloved husband of 48 years, Walter S. Pantol (May 30, 1997); her parents; and two sisters, Jo Ann French and Shirley (Edgar) Ohrt. Funeral Services for Doris M. Pantol will be held Monday, November 26, 2012 at 9:15 a.m. from the funeral home to St. Patrick Catholic Church for Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 a.m. Interment Plainfield Township Cemetery.
