Obituary of Lorraine Benedick

Lorraine M. Benedick Age 82. Passed away Sunday, August 15, 2010 at Salem Village. Born May 31, 1928. A graduate of the University of Wisconsin and DePaul University, Lorraine spent her early career as a Rehabilitation Counselor and commercial artist. After suffering a stroke which left her partially paralyzed, she lived her final years as a resident of Salem Village Nursing and Rehab Center, where she was visited regularly and cared for by her good friend, Sherry Lindstrom. Preceded in death by her parents, Luke and Jennie Benedick; sisters, Florence Valli, Genevieve Golobitsh, Louise Peppard, and Alice Jakovich; brothers, George, Theodore and William Benedick. Survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Services for Lorraine M. Benedick will be Saturday, August 21, 2010 at 9:30 a.m. from the funeral home to St. Joseph Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery.
