Obituary of Karen Perry

Perry, Karen A. (nee Walsted) Age 65. Suddenly, Friday June 8, 2012 at Provena Saint Joseph Medical Center with her family by her side. Karen was a loving mother and very special and devoted grandmother. Preceded by her parents, James and Mary (nee Gilroy) Walsted; one brother, Thomas Walsted. Survived by one son, Dino Anthony (Kathleen) Presti of Plainfield; one daughter, Tara Marie Presti of Chicago; five grandchildren, Camille, Anthony, Anastasia, Nicholas and Brian; two sisters, Mary (Clarence) Pfortmiller of Missouri and Kristine Walsted of Elgin; one brother, John (Michelle) Walsted of Mississippi; nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Funeral Services for Karen A. Perry will be Tuesday, June 12, 2012 at 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home chapel with Fr. Dennis officiating. As it was Karen's request, Cremation Rites have been accorded. Inurnment will take place Wednesday, June 13, at 10:00 a.m. at Oak Ridge/Glen Oaks Cemetery in Hillside. Visitation TUESDAY from 4:00 p.m. until time of services at 8:00 p.m. at: FRED C.
