Obituary of Gloria Bennett

Gloria H. Bennett Age 86. At rest Thursday, June 25, 2009 at Lakewood Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. Born in Chicago, she was a resident of Joliet the past 60 years. Retired from Caterpillar, Inc. as a secretary, following 35 years of service. Member of St. Peter Lutheran Church. Survived by her loving daughter, Gayann Bennett (Dan) Byrnes of Plainfield; her son, Geoffrey Bennett of California; and two grandchildren, Caitlin and J.P. Preceded in death by her husband, George Bennett (1988); and her son, Gregory Bennett (1972). As it was Gloria's wish, Cremation Rites have been accorded. Inurnment Woodlawn Memorial Park.
