Obituary of Francis Peterson

Peterson, Francis I. "Frank", age 87, of New Lenox and formerly Chicago; beloved husband of 59 years to the late Betty Jewel (Mills) Peterson; loving father of Mark Peterson and Victoria, nee Peterson (Jeffrey) Johanek. He was also a proud grandfather and dear brother of Arthur (late Peggie) Peterson; brother-in-law of Marge (late Robert) Bluhm and the late Delores (late Robert) Quarrel; proud uncle of many nieces and nephews, including Carl (Laurie) and Arthur F. (Carol) Peterson; great uncle of many. He was a U.S WWII Army Veteran, a retired Superintendent for Illinois Bank Builders, an avid golfer and bowler who was proud of his Swedish heritage. Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 27, 2011 from 12 noon - 6:00 p.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black Rd., Joliet. Funeral Monday 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
