Obituary of Jerry Phillips

Jerry R. Phillips Age 77. Suddenly, Friday June 26, 2009 at Provena St. Joseph Medical Center Emergency Room as the result of an apparent heart attack. A Joliet and Plainfield area resident since 1960. Retired as a independent insurance adjuster after many years of service. Former member of the Elks Club # 296. Survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Joyce Phillips of Plainfield; one son, Michael (Mary) Phillips of Bolingbrook; one daughter, Deborah (Mike) Thomas of Phoenix, AZ. Four grandchildren, Alex and Carter Phillips and Rebecca and Sean Ropp. Two great-grandchildren, Jaedon and Isabella. Two brothers, nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Funeral services for Jerry R. Phillips will be Thursday, July 2, 2009 at 10 a.m. at Woodlawn Memorial Park Cemetery graveside, Joliet, IL. with final interment to take place immediately to follow.
