Jane Rita Pickett Age 81, of Shorewood and formerly of Chicago, died Wednesday, July 27, 2011. Born June 26, 1930 in Chicago to the late Mary Catherine (Kirwan) and James Pickett. She attended the Catholic University and received a Bachelor degree from Loyola University. Jane was a retired Paralegal from the Michael Bilandic law firm. Beloved sister of Joseph (Jean) Pickett, the late James Pickett and the late Aileen (late John) Hertel. Fond aunt of many. Visitation Friday, July 29, 2011 from 5-8 p.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black Rd. (at Essington), Joliet. Funeral Saturday, 9:15 a.m. from the funeral home to Holy Family Catholic Church, Shorewood, Mass 10:00 a.m. Interment will take place at a later date at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
