Plese, George
Age 75, passed away Sunday, March 20, 2011 at his home with his family by his side. A third generation Joliet resident and former Marine. Retired from Cement Masons, Local #11. Member of the American Legion Post #1080, VFW Cantigny Post #367 and the Croation Club. He was an avid fisherman and world traveler. George lived his life to the fullest and will be sadly missed.
Preceded in death by his parents, Anthony and Florence (nee Kennedy) Plese.
Survived by his wife of 51 years, Arlene (nee Tallman) Plese of Joliet; three daughters, Cheryl (Michael) Delrose, Cynthia (Theodore) Jarz, and Vicky (John) Ramuta; Bopa to six grandchildren, Chad and Alyssa Delrose; Rachel and Jacob Jarz; and Michael and Matthew Ramuta; one brother, Anthony (Dorothy) Plese; three sisters, Mary (Conrad) Kuszynski, Joyce (Willard) Pearson and Shirley (Ernie) Hicks; brother-in-law, Bud Tallman; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A Memorial Mass to celebrate his life will be Friday, March 25, 2011, 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary Immaculate Catholic Church, Plainfield. Private family interment at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Joliet Area Community Hospice or St. Mary Immaculate Parish would be appreciated. Arrangements by:
