Obituary of Derek Posey

Derek L. Posey Age 27, of Morris, suddenly May 9, 2011 in Morris. Derek loved life, family and friends, especially his little boy. Survived by his son, Brenden; his girlfriend, Lana Spencer; his loving mother, Joanette Wilson of Morris; his father, Thomas Posey of Glendale, CA; one sister, Patricia (Adam) Sims of Sycamore, IL; his twin brother, Eric Posey of Morris; three nephews, Jesse, Julien, and Dylan; one niece, Ashlain; many aunts, uncle, cousins and friends also survive. Preceded in death by his brother, William R. Posey; maternal grandparents, Robert and Anna L. Sanders; paternal grandparents, William and Patricia Posey; his great-aunt, Tina Daniels; and maternal great-grandparents, Lynn and Marjie Myers. Funeral services for Derek Posey will be Thursday, May 12, 2011 at 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home chapel. Cremation rites will be accorded following funeral services.
