Obituary of William Posey

William R. Posey "Billy" Age 32. He was taken too soon, suddenly, Sunday, November 22, 2009 on Division Street in Morris as the result of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle/pedestrian accident. Born in Dallas, TX and a lifelong Morris resident. Educated in the Morris School System. Bill was a likable guy, who enjoyed his family and his friends. He was always there for those who needed help. Bill loved fishing, the Cubs, a good joke and fellowship at Griffins Pint. He will be sorely missed by those who knew him. Preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Anna L. Sanders; his great-aunt, Tina Daniels; maternal great-grandparents, Lynn and Margie Myers. Survived by his fiancee, Nancy Sanchez and her children who Billy loved as his own; his loving mother, Joanette Wilson of Joliet; his father, Thomas Posey of Glendale, CA; one sister, Patricia (Adam) Sims of Sycamore, IL; his two little brothers, Eric and Derrick Posey both of Morris; his maternal grandfather, Robert Sanders of Dwight; four nephews, Jesse, Julien, Dylan and Brenden; one niece, Ashlain; many aunts, uncle, cousins and friends also survive. Funeral services for William R. Posey will be Wednesday, November 25, 2009 at the Peace Chapel Assembly of God, 852 School Street, Morris at 2:00 p.m. with a visitation at 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. As it was Williams request cremation rites will be accorded following funeral services. In lieu of flowers, memorials to his family would be appreciated. Arrangements by: FRED C.
