Obituary of Ruben Prince JR

Ruben Prince, Jr. Age 75. At rest Sunday, December 14, 2008 following an extended illness. Born in Oliver Springs, TN to the late Ruben, Sr. and Elizabeth (nee Williams) Prince, he was a Joliet area resident for the past 50 years. A U.S. Marine Corps veteran. Retired truck driver with Teamsters Union Local #673. Past President of the Romeoville Jaycees and the Romeoville High School Athletic Booster Club. Surviving are three children, Allen Prince of Milano, TX, Sherry (Eric) Latz of Joliet and Brenda (Rick) Kruckmeyer of Mokena; five grandchildren, Aisha, Cassie, Barbara, Danielle and Brett; two great-grandsons, Emilio and Anthoni. Preceded in death by his wife, Kay Prince (1989); parents; two sisters, Mary Ruth Melton and Betty Lou, in infancy. Funeral Services for Ruben Prince, Jr. will be Saturday, December 20, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home chapel. Private interment Resurrection Cemetery.
