Obituary of Gladys Reedy

Reedy, Gladys B. (nee Christy) Age 96. Peacefully, Thursday, October 20, 2011 at Avow Hospice in Naples, FL. Born in Oka, MT, she was a longtime Joliet area resident, but also resided in Australia for four years, and had retired to Florida for the past 15 years. Member of Plainfield Christian Church, D.A.R., and the China Guild. Surviving are her husband, Lone O. Reedy of Naples, FL; two daughters, Sandy (Richard) Schmitz of Joliet and Lona E. (Fred Towles) Prodehl of Naples, FL; four grandchildren, Janice (Randy) Bees, Larry Prodehl, Chris (Bobby) Teague and Karl Schmitz; eight great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents, Guy and Mable (nee Hitt) Christy; and two brothers, Donald W. and Howard (Tillie) Christy. Funeral Services for Gladys B. Reedy will be Saturday, October 29, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home chapel. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park.
