Obituary of Evelyn Reeves

Evelyn Vershay Reeves nee Brozovich Age 92, late of Crest Hill, passed away Saturday, May 3, 2008 at Sunny Hill Nursing Home. Born in Joliet and a long time area resident; Evelyn also resided in Winter Haven and Haines City, FL for 35 years, returning to Joliet in 1996. Preceded in death by her first husband, John Vershay and her second husband, D. Hubert Reeves; her parents, Frank and Frances (nee Hibler) Brozovich; three brothers, Frank, Stanley and Tony; four sisters, Mary Bubica, Julie Vershay, Ann Vargo and Justine Stober. Beloved mother of John (late Nadine) Vershay; loving grandmother of John (Tammy) Vershay, Jr., Christine (Don) Hall and Tammy (Christopher) Wisniewski. Great grandmother of Molly Vershay. Dear sister of Frances (Rudolph) Podobnik and Catherine Brozovich; she was also the sister-in-law of Helen Brozovich, Betty Marocco and Frank Vargo many nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services for Evelyn Reeves will be Tuesday May 6, 2008 at 10:15 a.m. from the funeral home to St. Anne Catholic Church, Crest Hill for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
