Obituary of Salvador Reyes

Salvador Valencia Reyes Age 82, of Morris, IL, passed away peacefully, Wednesday May 4, 2011 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, IL. He was raised in Jalisco, Mexico and he has resided part-time in Morris for the past 15 years. Survived by his loving wife, Rufina Mendoza (nee Vargas) Reyes. He was the loving father of nine children; proud grandfather of many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Many other relatives also survive in Mexico. He was a hard working man who farmed most of his adult life. He was always happy, loved to laugh and tell jokes. All friends and relatives are invited to gather at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 516 E. Jackson St., Morris, on Saturday, May 7, 2011 from 9:00 am until the Mass of Christian Burial is celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
