Rieden, James M.
Age 59, of Joliet, IL., passed away Friday, November 9, 2012. He was born June 9, 1953 to the late Helen and William Rieden in Detroit, Michigan where he was raised.
Loving husband of Becky (Harris) of Plainfield, IL; beloved father of Richard "Rick" (Stefanie) Rieden; proud papa of Aiden and Madelyn of Chesterfield, MI; dear brother of the late William "Bill", Sue (Leo) Gerhardstein, Judy (Steve) Swartz and Dave (Maureen) Rieden all of the Detroit area. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
Jim, a former Detroit Police officer, was a Truck Driver for over 30 years. He had a great appreciation for Harley Davidson Motorcycles, the outdoors and a good laugh. He also possessed the determination and patience in being a skilled woodworker as well as a barbecue enthusiast.
As it was Jim's wish, cremation rites have been accorded. All friends and relatives are invited to gather Wednesday, November 14, 2012 from 9:00 a.m. until the Memorial service beginning at 10:00 a.m. at First Assembly of God Church, 1741 Essington Rd, Joliet. In lieu of flowers, memorials in his name to the Benevolence Fund at First Assembly of God Church, would be appreciated.
