Obituary of Mary Riola

Riola, Mary F. (nee Legan) Age 87. Monday, October 22, 2012 at Henry County Medical Center in Paris, TN. Born in Joliet on November 26, 1924, she was a Plainfield resident for 42 years. Member of St. Mary Nativity Catholic Church, she was active in the Woman's Club and the Joanites Senior Club. Past second Vice President of the Holy Family Society of USA, Secretary of St. Cecelias Society, member of St. Genevieve KSKJ, Ladies of the Elks #296 and the Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Cantigny Post #367. Survived by two sons, David (Rita) and Dale (Janet) Riola; five grandchildren, Michael, Steven, and Dale Jr.; Timothy and Sarah; five great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Victor (1999); parents, Joseph and Mary (nee Spelich) Legan; sisters, Ann (William) McKeon, Elizabeth (John) Haubensak, and Frances (David) McGilvray; brothers, Joseph (Mary) (Marie) Legan, Frank (Frances) Legan, Albert (Tillie) Legan and Anthony (Lena) Legan. Funeral Services for Mary F. Riola will be Saturday, October 27, 2012 at 9:15 a.m. from the funeral home to St. Mary Nativity Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment St. Mary Nativity Cemetery.
